As we celebrate Women’s History Month, let’s take a moment to reflect on how we can actively support and empower women in our communities today.
One significant way to make a difference is through donating to organizations that are tirelessly working to uplift women and children in need. In the
month of March Lidia’s Group Fitness is hosting the drive for the Dallas Genesis Shelter. The donation box is locate in the Lidia’s Group Fitness Studio.

don't worry about controlling the content of what is donated, we will handle
that on our end and whatever shouldn't be on our shelves, we can send to Thrift

game requiring batteries or a game system
Puzzles: all piece sizes are welcome!
Puzzle boards, so that puzzles can be moved from a dining room table
to a coffee table to the floor, if needed
Coloring/Activity books: adults and children

Birthday Bags - these are for adult clients and usually include a reusable
cup/mug, coin purse, journal and nice pen, and a birthday card. Donors
could collect the items and place in gift bags with tissue paper.
New Shelter Client - a calendar or planning book, writing pens, journal or
notebook, fidget toy, scented hand lotion, ear plugs, sleep mask, fuzzy socks
Purse drive - clients love when groups provide purses around Mother's Day
and other holidays. But we would take them all throughout the year. This
is also another opportunity to work in some gently used items.

• Shorts/Pants - (we are out of 5t-6t , very low on 7-8, 8-10 10-12, 12-14, 14-16)
• hard sole house shoes for children - all sizes
• unisex or boys clothing for 3-6 month, 6-9 month, 9-12 month, 18-24 month
• T-shirts (very low on 14-16 and 16-18)
• Pants for boys, sizes 10 – 16
• Winter coats for adults XS, SM, Med, Large, XL, XXL, XXL
• Shower shoes / slides for all ages, adult and children
